Question by : What states are not illegal to own a weasel?
I know California is indeed illegal to own a weasel, and I do indeed live in California. I am 13, and when I go out, I am plotting to own a weasel ( i know, weird, but I want one terribly…) so I need to know what state to go to!
thankyou for your answers, 10 points for best, that lists the most!
thankyou, but no, I really mean a weasel-not a ferret-althought their species are close.

Answer by jujukitty I’m assuming you mean a ferret. They’re legal in Utah and Arizona, as I’ve had clients at my workplace there who have owned them.

The least weasel is the world’s smallest carnivore (consequence 25-80 g). It is an efficient predator of voles and other small mammals, as it can hunt them in the burrows and under the snow during the long winters of north. The least weasel is common and abundant predator in northern hemisphere, but its numbers tends to swing strongly and follow the population cycles of its main prey, voles and lemmings. The least weasel is special among other carnivores because of its fantastic reproduction capacity: the litter size can be more than ten, a female can give a birth twice during the same season and childish females can have their own litters during the season they have born.
